Knockout Night

Las Vegas and big fights are almost synonymous. Be it MMA, boxing, wrestling or what have you, if you are getting paid to fight it’s probably happening in Vegas at some point. This Knockout Night was one that boxing fans in attendance will remember for years to come. We had some legendary talent fighting it out in the ring including Chris “The Heat” Van Heerden all the way from South Africa and Calgary’s own Steve “The Dragon” Claggett.

The event, which aired on CBS Sports Network, was a tight match and left the crowd and viewers very entertained and on the edge of their seats for the entire fight. Ultimately Van Heerden came out on top after winning the 10-round majority decision which was ruled 95-95 and 97-93 twice for Van Heerden.

Other notable victories were Neeco “The Rooster” Macias who absolutely dominated the fight against Limberth “El Gallito” Ponce, Jr. winning in a unanimous decision.  Malik “Iceman” Hawkins wore down his opponent Errol “Spyda” Sidney shortly into the sixth round with his unrelenting force.
