Lost ’80s Live

Lost ’80s Live took everyone back to the 80’s at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center with some great hit bands such as: A Flock of Seagulls, When in Rome, The Romantics, Bow Wow Wow, Book of Love, and many more! Lost ’80s Live have been touring around the U.S. since 2002, and continue to do so to this day.

Many people were ready to show off their stylish selves with their wild 80s style, neon tights, retro headbands, and big hair. This gallery presents some of the highlights from the event that made the night extra special. Attendees had a blast from the past and were able to rock out to their favorite bands.

Not familiar with the ’80s? No worries, check out some quick music facts!

– The number one song of the year in 1980 was “Call Me” by Blondie.

– On August 1, 1981, MTV debuted as a Television Channel that played Music Videos, and played “Video Killed the Radio Star” as the first song to play.

-Michael Jackson released his “Thriller” album in 1982, which included hits such as Beat It, Thriller, Billie Jean, and P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing).

Year after year Las Rageous has been proven to rock everyone’s world. So let’s do a quick Recap of Las Rageous ’17-’19! This festival consisted of both rock and heavy metal music with only the best bands such as: Godsmack, Mastodon, Dance Gavin Dance, Five Finger Death Punch, Sleeping with Sirens and many more! This was more than just your average music festival. To enhance the festival experience, Las Rageous offered a Bud Light Rock & Refuel Culinary Experience featuring over a dozen culinary offerings as well as Freak Show Wrestling. For those that wanted a romantic getaway, no worries, we provided on-site weddings at the Las Rageous wedding chapel.

Vendors like The Cake Wagon, 50 Shades Tastier, Project BBQ and so many more provided delicious foods to satisfy everyone’s hunger, while the bartenders poured thousands of beverages to quench all sore throats. Seen in the gallery above are some highlights from the past years that made this event unforgettable for everyone.

We had over 12,000 people show up and rock out! As seen in the gallery above, the support for this festival was absolutely insane. Hundreds of fans gathered to listen to their favorite bands together and sing along. Wanna see more? Check out the Las Rageous Instagram here.

Collective Zoo

Collective Zoo

Year after year Collective Zoo and the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center join forces to create the most insane event ever! It is filled with electronic dance music and more! In the collection above you will find a collection of pictures from all these Collective Zoo events that were held here at the DLVEC. Downtown Las Vegas Events Center grounds are transformed to give the ultimate experience to our guests, in this case, with flashing spotlights, dope video walls, and great drinks! From 2018-2021 these Zoology events have always been lively. DJing and performing these events were artists such as Chris Lake, Lee K, Shiba San, Latmun, and Ekali! Green Velvet ended the night with a bang at one of our events and we are sure people created memories that will last a lifetime.

In the pictures above you can find people dancing their hearts out, inflatable zoo animals, breathtaking laser lights, and the crowd going wild!

El Fantasma

El Rey del Underground, El Fantasma performed at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on October 25. The star-packed lineup included Kanales, Los Austeros de Durango, Los Grandes DLB la de California, and Miguel y Sus Kompaz. It was definitely a night to remember!

PRIDE

The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center and PRIDE  joined forces to celebrate the diversity in Las Vegas LGBTQ community on Friday, October 11 for the annual Las Vegas Night Parade & Saturday, October 12 for the Las Vegas PRIDE Family Festival. People of from all kinds of backgrounds gathered to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. This two-day celebration featured a unique set of lively events crafted for attendees of all ages. The weekend’s events included over 100 vendors, assorted food and beverage options, pop up drag shows, special appearances, and live entertainment.

The line featured performances by Kiesza, Vassy and Cazwell as well as performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Manila Luzon and Bob The Drag Queen. Hosted by Jennifer Warner, Drew Dixon, Edie and J.Son. Plus Inaya Day, DJ Rex Von Rex, DJ Jaydean, Dollface, Empire Records, Zumba Group, Joey Jay, Joey Suarez, Lady Q, Nick Ayler, Nikki Exotika and Sonora Mar Y Mar.

The American rock band Social Distortion killed it again with co-headlining punk band, Flogging Molly.  These iconic dual headliners took the stage for a SOLD OUT show on Saturday, September 28, and closed out summer with performances of all your favorite chart-topping hits.

On Thursday, September 19, we sat back to share a beer, and talk all things aliens at the Area 51 Celebration instead of storming a government base! The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center partnered with Collective Zoo and Bud Light to host an out-of-this-world evening of top-secret entertainment.

Mix 94.1 ‘s Bite of Las Vegas

The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center hosted Mix 94.1’s Bite of Las Vegas food and music festival Saturday, September 14, 2019. With a delectable fun-filled night of artists such as Rob Thomas, SHINEDOWN (Acoustic), James Arthur, Shaed, Delacey, The Rua, and OBB. As well as great dishes from over 40 local and national eateries. Together, we ate tasty dishes and sat back to enjoy the music.

Papa Roach rocked the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center as part of their Who Do You Trust? live concert tour on Labor Day weekend. Sunday, September 1. The true trendsetters in rock music took the stage along with Asking Alexandria and Bad Wolves. We ate, we drank, we partied along with thousands of our favorite rock fans.
