NFR Watch Parties

The National Finals Rodeo has been held annually for the past 30 years at the Thomas and Mack. The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center has held a National Finals Rodeo watch party every single year for the past five years!

NFR is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) where they showcase the talents of the top 15 money-winners in the season for each event. As soon as the rodeo is done, the party continues on! We offer a variety of entertainment acts to perform and a whole dance floor to square dance all night long. These acts are spread across a variety of days throughout the 10 event nights.

In addition, to live entertainment, good drinks, and the rodeo itself, last year we brought in some clydesdale horses! Guests were able to take pictures with these horses that average up to 5″4-6″0 tall!!

UFC Fan Fests

UFC Fan Fests

Just when you think the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center couldn’t get any more interesting, it DOES! The DLVEC turned the festival ground area into the Ultimate Fighting Center! More specifically, the DLVEC hosted UFC Fan Fests. The Events Center featured a boxing ring, where guests took the chance to take pictures and feel what it felt like to be at the top of the ring. Attendees also had the chance to meet their favorite champion, indulge in some delicious foods, and take pictures with the best boxing champions! UFC professionals came to these events to meet their fans and give out autographs as well.

Some people put their own skills to the test and tried out the UFC “Striking Challenge.” This challenge required participants to punch a punching bag, which then rated how strong the punch was in the scale of the Ultimate Fighting Champion. In the pictures above you will be able to view some of the highlights from these events, including Meet and Greet pictures, Interviews with some of the best UFC champions, and the individuals that were brave enough to participate in the Ultimate Striking Challenge.
