Las Rageous 2019 Headliners

It’s hard to beat the lineup from 2017 and 2018 but 2019 has its bounty of badass bands.

Rob Zombie

Robert Cummings, older brother to Powerman 5000’s Spider One, first began his heavy metal career with White Zombie in 1985. After White Zombie, Rob Zombie rose again as a solo artist with the album “Hellbilly Deluxe.” Zombie nearly clenched a grammy for his initial solo work in ‘96 and later went on to record 5 more albums.

Rob Zombie is not just known for his music, his elaborate getups, and theatrical performances, but also for his eclectic filmography. He’s acted and directed his own works, including his latest work “3 from Hell.”

Bring Me the Horizon

This English band has always had a unique sound that wasn’t initially accepted by many critics. Because of their, what’s now considered deathcore, style, the band had a slow start to their eventual illustrious discography. After their 2010 album “There Is a Hell, Believe Me, I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let’s Keep It a Secret.” released, the metalcore collective launched into rockstar-dom.

Bring Me the Horizon’s latest release, Amo, released this year so they’re bringing fresh tracks to downtown this fall.

The Used

Utah screamo band, The Used, emerged on the rock strata during the peak emo scene in the early 2000s. And yes, the band’s name includes the “The” because of another band named “Used” from Boston. Having headlined at Warped Tour multiple times with acclaimed tracks and setlists, the emo rock band continues to tour nationally.

In 2018, The Used released a limited edition vinyl, teasing another album release in the near future.

Chevelle

Illinois-originated rock group, Chevelle, began with brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler. Self-taught musicians, the Loeffler brothers started playing together in their parent’s garage, going onto play songs that would later top Billboard’s 200 albums chart.

That same garage also held the inspiration for their band’s namesake, the Chevrolet Chevelle. Their passion for music and fast cars led to eight albums plus live recordings.
