For 5 years, the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center has hosted some incredible, sold-out shows, concerts, and events. Relive some of our (and your) favorite moments with us.

Downtown Las Vegas Events Center Celebrates Its 5-Year Anniversary

From the outrageous rock anthems of Las Rageous to the hypnotic beats of Zoology, DLVEC is where LIVE lives. Here are just some of our favorite concerts and events that we’ve hosted over the last half-decade.

Throwback Concerts: 90s and 80s Bands

Feeling nostalgic? Flashback to the 80s and 90s with some favorite new wave and classic rock shows.

Lost 80’s Live

Lost 80’s Live is a local and all-around favorite for anyone nostalgic for 80s music. Thousands danced down memory lane with the likes of Flock of Seagulls, Wang Chung, Animotion, and many more. Clad in 80s style neon and tights, the genre’s biggest enthusiasts all joined in singing along to the decades most popular ballads and performances.

The annual Lost 80’s Live weekend pledges more big hair and another indelible evening of reminiscence.

Culture Club and the B-52’s

Culture Club, the new wave band from across the pond, is touted as one of the most influential bands of the 80s. Many were excited to see Boy George back at it alongside the B-52s’ Kate Pierson. “Love Shack” turned into a love fest of the original new wave tsunami.

Boston

Having produced one of the best selling albums in American music history, Boston became some of the founding fathers to the classic rock we adore today. During their 2016 tour, they stopped by the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center for an experience of a lifetime.

Rock and Punk Concerts

The events center has had its fair share of both rock and punk bands cross the stage and crush sound barriers. These music festivals are just the beginning.

Las Rageous

Unofficially ranked as the loudest festival ever, Las Rageous busted at the seams in 2018 with over 20,000 metalheads in attendance. Over the years, the festival has seen Coheed & Cambria, Judas Priest, and even local bands like Otherwise and Escape the fate.

This year’s metal festival also promises heavy-hitting scores so sign up for this year’s lineup.

Punk Rock Bowling

Having just celebrated its 21st birthday, Punk Rock Bowling, aptly named for its skull-rattling entertainment, filled the weekend with Mohawks and riotous anthems. From Rancid and the Descendents to X and Rise Against, these weekend-packed events took rock to a whole new level of roll.

Rancid and Dropkick Murphys

Popular punk rock groups, Rancid and the Irish misfits, coheadlined in a rambunctious performance die-hard fans have come to treasure.

Dropkick Murphys are back at DLVEC with Social Distortion this September.

Downtown Watch Zone Watch Parties

Let’s not forget the epic, stadium experience Downtown Watch Zone brought to Downtown Las Vegas. From futbol to football, our watch parties gathered thousands to celebrate wins and grieve losses alongside fans of all jerseys and ages.

VGK Official Watch Parties

The sharp echoes of skates on ice filled the air. The uproarious cheers. We watched our beloved misfits make it to the Western Conference for the second year in a row. While a short-lived run, there were still glittering good times to be had with $5 dollar shots and 2018-2019 season with record breaking stats.

Biggest Big Game Bash

To celebrate the biggest day in football, Downtown Watch Zone presented the Biggest Game Bash for Patriot and St. Louis fans alike. Fairweather and hardcore fans joined the players on the field with the immersive stadium sound and the massive 72-foot screen.

The Official Las Vegas Raiders Watch Party

In welcoming one of the latest sports teams to the valley, we launched the season with a Raiders Watch Party. Locals donned their gear and grabbed their coolers of beer to cheer on Nevada’s first NFL team.

UFC Fan Fest

It’s the fight club everyone talks about. Hundreds lined up to meet their heroes and heroines from the Ultimate Fight Club. Fans also enjoyed great food and fun with this one-of-a-kind “ultimate” UFC Fan Experience.

Sold out Shows

Despite the outdoor venue having seemingly endless space, we still held several concerts that blew the roof off.

Sublime with Rome

In October 2016, Sublime with Rome stopped by Las Vegas and played an unforgettable performance at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.

Collective Zoo Block Party

The legendary Labor Day Block Party provided good vibes and even better beats. An all-day event, the 2018 Block Party featured popular DJs Chris Lake, Golf Clap, and even more spellbinding sets.

Another festival-inspired experience promises a day of dancing and swimming with a 2,200 square foot pool. Buy your tickets now for SoundYard.

Zoology: Green Velvet

Speaking of good vibes, Green Velvet, American songwriter and producer, enlivened Downtown with shades of neon and captivating techno. This Collective Zoo featured concert and party had everyone feeling green.

Vans Warped Tour – Final Cross Country Tour

Acclaimed to be the “last of its kind,” the Vans Warped Tour presented by Journeys did not disappoint. Epic fails to describe the chaos and general musically-inspired tomfoolery. The illustrious lineup included The Used, Simple Plan, Mayday Parade—just to name a few.

Godsmack, Shinedown, and Like A Storm

It got loud that night. These three renowned, heavy metal bands all headlined for an adrenaline-filled show. See the gallery here although the pictures don’t quite provide the exceptional performances justice.

Deftones & Rise Against

Rise Against is no stranger to DLVEC. The band co-headlined with the Deftones for one spectacular evening of punk rock and alternative metal. Relive every chord here.

Voted Best of Vegas Most Versatile Venue 2019

Versatile doesn’t quite cover the list of artists, DJs, and musicians that have visited the Las Vegas Venue. Below are just a few of the concerts and events that we’ve held at our multifaceted location:
